Don't misunderstand, I can live with some of their GUI stupidity. and then ended up being fooled into a windows 8 crap sandwich whe a hinge let go on my old trusty laptop. The sad and scary part is when you do spend the money and then you find out about their less than stellar realities.ĭoing some reading about running XP in virtual, well, it doesn't look like anyone really knows what it is going to mean to be running XP an any fashion, even that of virtual. I see CamBam added lathe, but it doesn't appear to let you play with it in the demo because it is a plug-in. Not sure I'm even in the mood for spending that much right now.
From tidbits I have read in various forums, it looks like the least expensive lathe cam options might run around the $500 mark. Well, I guess I will need to find a way to get something a little more modern then.
